Hi:
I am trying to use a videoconferencing software made by LifeSize. When I made a connection the other party could see me and hear my voice, but I could not hear or see anything. I opened the ports suggested by the software vendor on my dd-wrt based router - unfortunately without any change in the result. LifeSize suggested that my ISP (Verizon FIOS) was causing the problem by blocking the needed ports prior to the signal getting to my router. I tried to contact Verizon several times to ask if they block the ports needed (5060, 60,000-64,999) however, their tech support help could not answere the question.
Does anyone know if Verizon FIOS (residential) blocks the needed ports (5060, 60,000-64,999) for the LifeSize program? If Verizon does block these ports, is there anyway to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance.
