Cisco ASA Active/Active vs Active/Passive Configuration

Can anyone tell me or direct me in away to learn the TRUE differences between active/active and active/passive configurations?  I am not looking to get real technical on it honestly, I have a basic understanding that the major difference is whether both FW's pass traffic or just one.

What I would really like to know is are there netwrok architecture designs pitfalls to be aware of.  There has to be a significant enough difference between the two for Cisco to offer the option when configuring HA.

I am concerned that since my traffic managers to my webservers are not in active/active, this may and has caused traffic issues.Start Free Trial
