Configuring PIX firewall Appliance.

I have read about configuring PIX appliance but it wasn't really clear.

when configuring PIX firewall appliance that has 2 interfaces (inside /outside), If someone need to set up a DMZ , would that be from the server interface in the dmz to the switch then to the PIX? or there should be another firewall behind the PIX?

the same for the Inside LAN , will it be connected to PIX Via a switch ?

so where do you set up the IP address of the DMZ and the IP of the inside LAN in the PIX appliance.?

could you also pleae explain the difference between NAT and PAT?
