The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. CISCO ASA 2 Mailserver NAT or PAT vor Inbound and outbound

Heyy together,

i have a small setup problem, as well im not a god in config an ASA.
Short overview:

External
ASA´s std. Outside interface: X.X.1.10
Mailserver "outside interface" shoud be: X.X.1.9

Internal:
ASA: X.X.2.254
Inbound Mail Server: X.X.2.8
Outbound Mail Server: X.X.2.2

How do i set up that BOTH servers talk "outside" over X.X.1.9?
       and not over the the outside interface of the ASA (X.X.1.10)
How do i set up that all inbound Mails go to the X.X.2.8? Port 25
How do i set up that all outboundmails can be send by the X.X.2.2? Port 25

Befor i had an ISA Server runnin where it was kinda easy to set up but no im already lost that both share an ip witch is not the same as the ASAs Outside interface. And then the redirections

I Tryed with pat and nat but all together it never worked.
