&nbsp;PLEASE HELP! I am trying to establish a VPN site-to-site tunnel between a PIX and an ASA.<br />
<br />
On the ASA I have:<br />
external: YYY.YYY.93.10<br />
internal: 192.168.111.1/24<br />
<br />
On the PIX I have:<br />
external: XXX.XXX.91.242<br />
internal: 192.168.1.1/24<br />
<br />
I am using DES-MD5 on both sides. What am I missing? I am trying for hours to get this tunnel up and running.<br />
<br />
&nbsp;I used the ASDM wizard on both without success. Can anybody please help? I attached the configs on both devices.<br />

Hello,

Cisco PIX is a dedicated hardware firewall appliance; the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) is a firewall and anti-malware security appliance that provides unified threat management and protection the PIX does not. Other Cisco devices and systems include routers, switches, storage networking, wireless and the software and hardware for PIX Firewall Manager (PFM), PIX Device Manager (PDM) and Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM).
