Browse All TopicsAfter installing the SonicWall Global VPN Client, the first time I start the program I get a message box that says "Failed to open the IPSec driver". I've installed this tool on several other client PCs without this problem, but this installation is having problems - I had to uninstall/reinstall after the network hung the first time. Anyone seen this before? Windows XP Pro.

Turned out this was goes back to having an incomplete installation to begin with. I ended up fixing by downloading the uninstall tool, running that -- then re-installing, so that I could uninstall properly from the control panel (Add/remove programs menu). Then -- after installing once more -- all was back to normal.
