Browse All TopicsWe have installed Citrix XenApp and need to open it on the Watchguard firewall. I tried to open port TCP ports 1494,2598, 80,443 etc. but its getting upto login and then its not opening application.

As the application is not opening, in most of the cases it is a MTU issue; can you check from your Citrix server the best MTU value; we can change it on WG interface itself or just on the server (using Dr TCP) or some other tool.
To arrive at the best MTU value, we can ping any website with options as below:
ping -f -l 1500 www.abc.com
We would reduce the size (-l option) by 100 till we get replies and would play around with the value till we reach the optimum maximum value.
Please advice which WG software you are running; also on the max MTU value which you get, I can then help you with changing the MTU.
