LAN problem when enable Norton Internet Security

Hello,

I try to connect LAN from my laptop but cannot after enable Norton Internet Security.
How can I connect LAN with enable Norton Internet Security?

You'll need to configure your netwrok in Norton's Internet Security to allow traffic through the lan

Go to control panel
Click on internet options
Click on connections
Click on Lan Settings
You should have Automatically detect settings checked.

Automatically detect settings doesn't need to selected to be connected to a lan

My computers are configured with ‘Automatically detect settings as a standard. One machine has http://127.0.0.1:8080/proxyconf under ‘use automatic configuration script. It some how appeared when as far as I can see when I installed Nav 2005

Not having the 'Automatticall detect setting' checked is something that is new to me.
