How do disable the "windows firewall is turned off" message using our Default Domain Policy

Asked by catalysttg in Network Software Firewalls, Windows Network Security Questions, Microsoft Operating Systems

Tags: Your Windows firewall is turned off, click here to turn it on

I recently disabled the windows firewall using the Default Domain Policy.  Now all end users are getting a warning that their firewall is turned off in their system tray.  How do I disable this notification to the end users? Or how do I set the firewall recommendation, "I have a firewall that I will monitor myself", for the whole company?

The end user's don't have permissions to access the security center or to turn the firewall back on.Start Free Trial
