How to Monitor and Report on Outbound Traffic of IPCOP and Smoothwall Firewalls?
Hello,
Is there a way to monitor and report on the outbound traffic from the Green and Red zones of IPCOP and Smoothwall Firewalls?
What I'm needing to do is create weekly and monthly reports with stats and graphs showing the PC's in Green zone in IPCOP and/or Smoothwall accessing the internet.
I'm needing to report on the following:
External IP addresses being accessed,
The length of time of each external ip address was accessed,
The corresponding PC that accessed the external ip address.
How many times each external ip address was accessed in a week/month.
I cannot use the IPCOP/Smoothwall Proxy Server as it interferes with the SSL and VPN Client Connections.
I've been playing around with PRTG and MRTG and haven't had much success, but that is more likely because I don't have these figured out yet.
