Browse All TopicsI am new to Sonic Wall. We have a TZ170 Standard. Like all firewalls, it is configured to block many types of files that could be used to download viruses. My problem is as a member of IT staff, there are times when I need to download legitimate .exe and .zip files such as combofix and GMER scanner and can not. It is not a situation where I can simply add an IP address to the whitelist like for a blocked site; my computer simply can not connect to the websites I need to download the file.
My question: can any guide me through how to safely get access to the files I need from my computer, yet at the same time not jeopordize network security?
Thank you.
