The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. No Inbound Email: Sonicwall Email Security Appliance & Sonicwall

We are still running Exchange 2000, behind a Sonicwall 2040 Firewall - everything works, life is good. I just purchased a Sonicwall Email Security Appliance  Model 200 to offload the spam filtering from the Exchange server.
Set it up per the book & pointed the firewall to it, and it to Exchange.. Nada
When I tried to telnet on port 25 from the command line on the spam device, I just got "Connection closed by foreign host" 100% of the time. Tech support basically said it's an Exchange problem.
I created a computer in AD named same as the spam device & now get a 220 connect from telnet but it won't accept any further commands...
I've been beating on this for about 2 weeks & SW tech support on it for 8 hours..

Anyone with any insight PLEASE.......
