"The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message"  error message found in XP Pro Error logs.  What does this mean?  What is the cause of this error?

This error mean your dhcp request has been denied by the DHCP server (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).

also u can try

start->run->cmd
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

see if u still get the message.
