cmd.exe cmd.com

this morning i run the cmd command from Run in Windows XP. suddently it show cmd.com and then disappear...

i try full name of cmd, cmd.exe...ok then the command prompt appear...but when i type NETSTAT, error come out shows
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\cmd.exe -netstat
The NTVDM CPU has encountered and illegal instruction
CS:0e29 IP:0102 OP:c6 5f 58 c3 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application"
