Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Hi Experts!
My computer is again infected with spyware. I use Win XP Pro SP2. A month ago, I reformatted the HDD because I was not able to remove all of these spyware.
Now they are back and I don't want to reformat the HDD again. My anti-virus software is Panda and it stopped most of these spyware, but now it does not and I don't know why even if it was already updated. I bought Ad-Aware Pro and installed it on my PC. The software found lots of data miners, malware and spyware and was able to remove them....but when I removed them, the next day they were there and they were worse than before. Now I'm getting a blank screen on my desktop instead of my favourite picture and it shows my IP address plus a warning that someone got control of my computer. I checked all my firewall settings and everything looks fine from there.
Also, some of these spams infected somehow the Win XP Security Center, but they were removed by Ad-Aware. The problem is that now I get lots of messages saying that there are lots of vulnerabilities and threads detected. These messages keep to appear on the task bar and the browser opens automatically leading to a spyware solution. Something's wrong there. What can I do? Are there other better tools that can stop this?
