Browse All TopicsHi. Don't know if it is a virus or malware or what is it, but whenever I turn on the computer (it does not happen if I reboot), it tries to book from the floppy drive, and I have to change the settings of the BIOS every single time. I have even disabled the floppy, but keeps prompting every time I turn it on. Also, when I end correcting the boot settings and enter windows, I find the date changed to Jan 1, 2002.
Does anyone recognize this as the works of a virus? Thx in advance.

I recognize this as a bios loosing its settings.
Replace BIOS battery and if that doesn't help, RMA the board or replace it.
