Browse All TopicsI have a client that has the WinCodecPro Trojan. It however does not fit the profile of the trojan that was discovered in March 2009. I have run ComboFix, SmitFraud, MalwareBytes and HijackThis. None of the virus/spyware removal tools will even detect that there is a virus.
Has anyone seen a new variation of this virus?
There are no entries regarding the codec in the registry. It is almost like the virus is attacking the Master Boot Record. Any help will be greatly appreciated
