My girlsfriend's ex is a programmer who has unwittingly given away the fact he is monitoring her PC and has been privvy to password changes etc. I suspect he has written his own program and placed it inside a mobile broadband dongle to gain access.
Given that this trojan is a one-off it would not be part of an anti-virus/spyware defintition list.
Besides monitoring task manager, how can we detect trojan-like behaviour?
