Best answer is to simply reload it, quick and easy solution. Make into any password you like.
You give hardly any info, no supplemental comment, have numerous open questions, and think a key critical password is only worth 20 points and a few short words? Aw, gimme a break! Get real!

Does your login have admin rights? If so, just change it to whatever you want. Are you connected to a domain? If so, let the domain admins change it. Are you suppose to know it? If not, bad bad boy/girl/whatever!!!!!
i believe this type of software is not allowed by EE guidelines as it can be used for immoral purposes?

Actually sh0e the EE staff ok'ed posting these utilities before Jgould became a mod. So Jgould probably is unaware of it.
really? hmm
Yeah actually it is left to the Experts discretion. There are sometimes I won't post the links because I am not sure the questioner has a legitimate reason. But the fact is most of the unethical folks that want to crack the password usually already know how and are already aware of these utilities.

As CrazyOne has noted, there is a utility which will help you to gain access to a forgotton password, I would only use it if you were locked out and couldn't gain entry from another admin account.
