McAfee and W32/Netsky
Since a couple of days my McAfee VirusScan continuosely notify the presence of an infected McV19.tmp file with W32/Netsky.d.em!exe. The Viruscan notification states that the file has been deleted to complete the clean process. When I cancel the notification, it pops up again after a few seconds. I have been trying to run the scan of the entire HD but there was no detection of any virus. On one of the pages on this site I saw a response on how to clean the virus. I used the Symantec tool but even the tool does not detect any virus. I 've been trying with the manual procedure and neither the Winlogon.exe file or any of the values in the register are present.
The only indication that the McAfee virusScan could be right is that I'm receiving a number of e-mails daily of Mail Delivery Error on one of the e-mail accounts I have.
Any idea of what is causing the problem?
Thanks
Max

I could not find anything. However the notification seems to be the right explanation. Thanks! Max

If this is the case, the question would be: how do you stop the VS notification? I would expect the notification to be popping up only once and not continuosely.
