Disable I.E AutoComplete via Group Policy or Registry

Hi,

I need to disable the autocomplete for IE, so that it cannot store passords. I tried to do a GPO but it forces me to disable to whole content page and i dont want to do that.

Can I do this though a GPO setting?
If not can I do it witha  reg key? and then if I can do it with a Reg key can I push it out though GPO?

thanks in advance for the help

open registry and follow this path:

User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer

you can disable it from here, or/and make a reg key yourself to push it though.

Download REG2ADM tool so you can push the registry on all remote computers.

The policy I mentioned above should disable autocomplete without disabling the content page.

No need to create a custom ADM or push out a reg key.

So disabling the GPO will work for forms as well as logins?
also,
If a user already has credentials stored, will it erase those passwords
