How to remove doubleclick.net from pc
Hi,
I do not have the right to install any adware/spware removing software and also my Hosts file looks like:
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp. TEST
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 127.0.0.1 ad.doubleclick.net
I have blocked the site..cookies on high .
Any suggestions on how to remove it?
Cheers

Attain admin rights to install Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/), install it, update it and due a full deep scan of the PC
Also, please read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034
"I do not have the right to install any adware/spware removing software..." does that mean that you are on a network and your system is managed by an IT staff?
If so, you need to work through them to get this corrected.
Malwarebytes cannot simply be installed and run - for many variants of malware. You need to first run one of the 'rogue process' stoppers first (RogueKiller or RKill).
Also, there is no such thing as a "full deep scan" with Malwarebytes. In most cases all you need to do is run a "Quick" scan to identify and remove malware. If you want to run a "Full" scan, you can - but it will take much longer.
The proper instructions for running these programs and some others are contained in these EE Articles:
