I am the IT director of my dad's company...just graduated. I am looking to beef up the manegement system using IT solutions but at the same time I understand that am working for a business and hav to do things within the resources of that business. ITs a business with close to 70 employees.
At the moment we have run an EPR system which basically handles all the operations in the company, ranging from the accounts-sales-marketing issues etc, by the way this program was customised by private programmers so as to accomodate how the company operates.
I dont want the new system extended as it might later become to complex for people using it or even the programers themselves, so am looking for a new software which can handle HR issues, supplier database, stock (assets like stationaries, machinery tools etc), receptionist roles (booking apointments etc), staff time keeping, chat utility(like a messanger) and a few more things that can help provide solution to the management system.
Bearing in mind the only IT solution this company has ever used is this EPR which was just deployed over a year ago and is run on a network of about 12 computers, also any extra ideas IT solutions are welcomed coz i'm really looking to improve alot of things (IT wise), cheers in advance
