Is there a way to rewrite a subroutine to ask the user if they want to save the Excel file and if they say no, to delete the file ?

I am using Access 2003 with Access and Excel as the front end and SQL Server as the back end database.

I use the following subroutines to create and save an Excel file.

Is there a way to rewrite these subroutines to ask the user if they want to save the Excel file instead of saving it. The problem is that the server I write to is low on disk space, so I want to ensure that the user only saves those Excel files that they truly need.

Perhaps the Excel file could reside in a temporary space to display it's output and then is saved only if the user responds YES to a message box asking whether or not to save the Excel file. Or after saving it, subsequently delete it, if the user answers NO in the message box.Start Free Trial
