MS Access Date type question

Experts,

I have a simple question in MS Access table. In one of the fields, we want the data type to be date/time and we want it use a look up wizard. So, first we select the data type to be date/time, then scroll all the way down to use look up wizard. It prompt up a message that "the lookup wizard does not apply to this type of data type"

Why is that? and how do we get around it?
