Disable Combobox Drop Down List After On Not In List Event

Asked by alliedtech in Access Coding/Macros, Access Forms

Tags: , ,

I have code in the On Not In List event of a combobox.  After the event fires, focus is regained on the combobox and the list is automatically "dropped down" (if this is proper terminology).  Is it possible to eliminate the list from dropping down after the On Not In List event is executed?  This combobox list contains thousands of items and I prefer that it function like a text box unless the user actually clicks on the drop down arrow.Start Free Trial
