The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Find Data and place identifier in front of it.

I'm hoping this will be the last thing in this project!!

I have a macro sorting through data and redistributing it to different cells. I ran into an issue where some of the data I need is not tagged with the required identidfiers and need a macro that will run through and add that identifier in there for me.

Here is some sample data:

Company Name                               (X)
2121 Street Address
City, ST 88888
PO Box 8888
City, ST 88888
Phone:(888)888-8888
Web: www.website.com
Contact Information
Contact Information
Contact Information
Contact Information
Systems: IBM S/390, DEL, NT/200072003. UNIX.
Misc: Misc Information

So what I need is to have the "Contact information" tagged with "OPS:" in front of each line. The problem is that not every contact has a "Systems, Web, or Misc" row. So I think I need it to look for Phone and ask, "Is the next line Web?" if so, it needs to add the tag to the front of the line after Web. If Web is not there, it needs to add it to the line immediately after phone as long as that line is not a company name (identified by (X) in that row).

So it might look like any of these:

Company Name                               (X)
2121 Street Address
City, ST 88888
PO Box 8888
City, ST 88888
