The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Determine if field contains Alpha characters and check length of field

I need to determine if a field starts with an Alpha character and if the length of the field is > 3.

I have a field that could contain the following data possiblities:

C1
CH!
A09
A9
12-01
And it should display as follows
12-01 = 01
C1 = 01
CH1 = 01
A09 = 09
A9 = 09

this is what I have so far:
 IIf(Len([Prop_Channel])<2,'0' & [Prop_Channel],[Prop_Channel])

I need to add a method to check for alpha characters.

what am I missing?
