The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Have created sweet Access Drag n' Drop code.  How do I package it?

Hi,

I am a non-programmer who can code just enough to be dangerous.  I have created a pretty sophisticated database that would benefit greatly from having a powerful "drag n' drop" functionality that doesn't come with Access.  As they say, necessity is the mother of invention, so over the last few years, I have developed something that really takes very little VB code to run, yet is quite robust.

A few features:
1. Allows the user to click on an invisible button on any form, and based upon pretty much any code the user wants to run (cut, paste, append, filter, etc), then "drag" that data in the form of a floating form to any other spot and "drop" it.
2. The forms are fully customizeable as well and can display any data the user wants.
3. One very strong feature is that it allows the user to drag from a continuous form and drop onto another continuous form without "pre-selecting" the drop record - this is VERY handy!

Ok, anyway, I've created this really awesome tool and I want to be able to distribute it to others, but I have NO IDEA on how to package it so that others could use it and still have my underlying code "hidden".

Can someone point me to a publication that explains how or just give me some ideas?
