The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Move to a specific cell MS flexgrid

I am using the msflexgrid control.  I have a grid setup with one column being fixed and one row being fixed.  The coulmns are dynamic bases on how many records are in a table and the rows are always 97.   Now when I refresh my screen i do
Private Sub RefreshDisplay()
    Application.Echo False
    GRID.ReDraw = False
    Form_Load
    lblJobInfo.Caption = ""
    txtWD = ""
    Line1.Visible = False
    Line2.Visible = False
    Application.Echo True
    GRID.ReDraw = True
End Sub

In the Form_Load it calls another line which resets the grid to have 1 fixed row and 1 fixed column.  Then I loop through the table to fill in what needs to be and add the columns I need filled.  All of this is working but here is my problem.

When I have fixed rows and columns and i refresh it always puts me back to the top left of the grid.  Running the same code without the fixed row and column leaves me where i was originally on the grid.   I want to be left in the same location no matter where I am but I also want to have the fixed row and column.  Is there a way to move to a certain cell which is off of the screen.  I know that grid.col = x and grid.row = x will select the cell I want but the screen is not showing that cell (unless I manually scroll to it).   Is there a way to auto scroll with the grid?Start Free Trial
