The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Displaying Blank when Access Date is 30/12/1899

I have a table that holds three dates (Stored as Short Date in UK date format). When the record is created, the date fields are blank, however depending on events, one or more of the dates are stampled with the current date.  Any dates not updated then show 30/12/1899 which I know is the default date in access.  However, I want to show a blank field in forms text boxes and grids when the date is 30/12/1899.  

No matter what I do, I can't seem to stop it showing th 1899 date.  I also want to check for an empty field and have said
IF tbCreated = #30/12/1899# then
.... remaining code
But Access reformates the code to #12:00:00 AM# and the IF statement fails.

Any Help would be miuch appreciated as I'm getting frustrated now.
