Report showing ID Number not text but query shows Text

Following the help of
http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/access/HA011170771033.aspx

I have generated a output of a query as reeprt through a form to input the parameters.
However if I run the query directlythe assesment tyupe somes up as the etxt it should
butif i run the report through the form the Assesment type field comes up as as an ID number not the Text

the query it fulls from is

SELECT Avg([Total Length minus suspension dates].[No of Days]) AS [AvgOfLength in days], Round([AvgOfLength in days]/7) AS [Average Length in weeks], [Total Length minus suspension dates].[Assessment Type] AS [Assessment type]
FROM [Total Length minus suspension dates]
WHERE ((([Total Length minus suspension dates].[Application Eligibility Date]) Between [Forms]![DatesRange]![BeginDate] And [Forms]![DatesRange]![EndDate]))
GROUP BY [Total Length minus suspension dates].[Assessment Type];
