Date range from form fields in Access Query 2003

I've built a report in MS Access that uses a query. I want the query to reference an open form for the date range. If I put the code snippet below into the Access Query design view, it says the entry can't be converted to a valid date time value. it won't let me do a Cdate or Format conversion, say function is not defined. It will let me do a CAST as Date time, but then you get a conversion error when I run the query. Basically, In Access, I've got a report menu with a beg and end date field. I want to add a date range, select a report, and have it run between the dates. BUT I can't get the queries to look at the form.Start Free Trial
