  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. How can I set up a virtual directory in Apache ?

I am deploying a Application with Jdeveloper  against Oracle 9 iAs , when I display the initial page index.htm in
http://my-web-server/abc/index.htm
Here abc is my virtual directory .
I don't have problem but when I try browse the subpages the next message appears
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /home/oracle/orahome2/ias903/j2ee/home/applications/IESS/IESSWarRoot/abc/emp/ksempm0670.jsp
I understand that abc doesn't exist Why the initial page search a physical directory abc ?
Of course , In my application I don't reference this virtual directory
In my httpd.conf I have this:
<VirtualHost 192.168.12.53:7777>
    ServerAdmin webmaster@iess.gov.ec
    DocumentRoot /home/oracle/orahome2/ias903/j2ee/home/applications/IESS/IESSWarRoot
    DirectoryIndex index.htm
    ServerName www.iess.gov.ec.new
    ErrorLog logs/www.iess.gov.error-log
    CustomLog logs/www.iess.gov.error-log common
</VirtualHost>

Besides, if I use http://my-web-server/index.htm , apparently My app executes ok but it can't libraries and jars



How can I say to Apache that /abc is a Virtual Directory ? or How can I solve this problem ?
