Auto run process before project executable

For certain projects, we must always execute a batch routine before the project itself is run.

Invariably this is omitted with the result that the project has to be closed, the batch process ran and the project re-run.

Is there any way to configure the IDE to auto-run this batch routine for me, before the actual project executes?
