Browse All TopicsI've gotten thoroughly fed up with MySQL Query Browser. Ugly font colors, especially for comments, the find/replace doesn't behave in a standard way, and weird other quirks that are getting to me.
What is a BETTER query editor for MySQL? I'm looking for something that has as many of these features as possible:
- Standard editing features that behave in a microsoftish way (like FIND and REPLACE geez </rant>)
- Syntax highlighting (discover and highlighting of variables would be a big plus)
- Intellisense, code-completion or some kind of embedded help reference
- Execute directly from editor
- Full script editing view, with support for multiple result sets returned
- Schema / table / stored proc / trigger view on the side, preferably with table designer
I'm willing to pay for the software - I just want something that's actually pleasant to use and makes development go faster. What's the current professional tool?
