Asked by impoole in Exchange Email Server, Deployment Software for Development
I have a central Exchange 2007 cluster, with multiple remote sites connected via 2mb/8Mb ADSL, MPLS and leased lines. We are migrating from Notes, whereby we migrate 10-25 users per night and then the user logs on in the morning and the outlook profile is generated - the issue here is that all bandwidth is being consumed during the day with creating users cached profiles (OST files).
I would like to create all the users OST files on a server on the same LAN as the exchange server and then shedule the copy of these OST files to users overnight (where the bandwidth usage doesn't really matter) - I need this to be an automated process.
