I'm a web developer using php/mysql Ineed to have version control system (I mean CVS)
- I've only one machine that has linux fedora core 4 to make it the server
- all other machines that we have at work are windows XP professional
- I'm seaching about a solution that can integrate that developers working on windows machines to have a client on their PC's that can connect and interact on with the CVS system on fedora core 4.
please help in that I need it very soon. if there is any idea please guide me.

Since it seems you did not install yet a version control system, I would suggest using SVN (subversion) instead of CVS. It is much easier to administer and it provides a lot of extra functionalities when compared with CVS. More info and full documentation here http://subversion.tigris.o rg/.
ab.net/col labnet-sub version.ht ml binaries provided by collab.net. The ones for RedHat ES4 should work without problems on FC4.
I'm no longer using FC4 (I'm on FC6) so... I'm not entierly sure if a simple "yum install subversion" works. If not, take a look at the http://downloads.open.coll
