I installed python 2.3.3 and I add the installation directory to the environment variable path (start -> run -> cmd -> python : it works !). Then I installed Wincvs 2.0.2.4 with CVSNT 2.0.51d (proposed by wincvs at the end of install). upon completing I restarted and I run WinCvs. the problem is the macros menu is unavailable and the message is : Shell not available !
can you help please ?!

If you want to use Python, you should start at least with version 2.5.2. If you are just starting, then you should focus on Python 2.6 (now release candidate 2) and possibly even on Python 3.0 (now release candidate 1). The final versions are to be released soon (http://www.python.org/dow
I do use CVSNT, but the 2.0.51 is really old. You should downoad the stable version 2.5.03.2382 (http://www.cvsnt.org/arch
I have no experience with WinCVS, but it seems rather dead end. The official page was last updated at the end of 2007. The last stable version was released in 2005.
