Asked by mikestan in Linux Administration, Linux, CVS
I support a CVS server where the code (CVS files) are stored on a NAS appliance. One of my users complained that their code (files) they recently checked in showed up as directories. Anyone heard of how this might happen? This is especially perplexing because I wouldn't even know how to change a file into a directory. The users tend to connect directly to CVS using different Dev environments (IDEs) and this particular user was using myEclipse from a Windows PC. I can't locate any known issues, however.
Thoughts?
