Can anyone tell me how I can best make this connection? I could use DynIP.com to make the server visible to the outside. But I think I'd still need to handle port forwarding for this to work?
Please explain the steps to making this work.
Thanks,

Dyndns or no-ip.org is a fine idea , 8080 or whichever port TFS is assigned to should be forwarded, if you need help configuring your router for port forwarding , the below link should help, locate your router & follow the steps
http://www.portforwar d.com/
Also keep in mind that in some routers you will need to enable remote administration in order to allow the router to accept incoming connections from the internet, this is a security measure in some of the routers to protect against unauthorized access from the internet.
