Need to get my laptop connected to a server hosting Team Foundation Server
I have a server hosting TFS 2005 and running behind a Linksys router that I need my laptop's Visual Studio connected to. This instance of TFS contains the source code which I want to check-out and check-in from my laptop.
Can anyone tell me how I can best make this connection? I could use DynIP.com to make the server visible to the outside. But I think I'd still need to handle port forwarding for this to work?
Please explain the steps to making this work.

Dyndns or no-ip.org is a fine idea , 8080 or whichever port TFS is assigned to should be forwarded, if you need help configuring your router for port forwarding , the below link should help, locate your router & follow the steps
