Question
Subversion repository on a network drive?
Hi experts,
Can i have my repository on a network drive rather then a local drive?
When I do this my green ticks do not turn to red when I edit a file and there are only green ticks on the folder level and NOT the file level.
I can still right click and commit my changed but the ticks are still green when edited!
I want to use a network drive because it is backed up daily. I know that when using subversion it's best practice to check-in at the end of each day but from time to time some developers will ignore this.
Any suggestions?

My last job ran subversion from a networked server, so yes, it should work.
