I have been using access to pull data from a sql database for a few years now. I have been slowly expanding what I want to do with my data and how it is entered. I am now looking to have users input data with nice forms. The users will also be doing quite a bit of searching and sorting of the data based on different parameters.
I am looking to build a nice front end to the data and have the time and money to invent in a good program to aid in the development of this front end. What are some good programs to use and why? Pro's and Con's.
Is Microsoft Visual Studio something into which I should be looking? Or is there a better program I should invest my time and money? What are some good books people use to help them with their program of choice?
