Is compiling multiple installations into one package possible?

Hey guys!
I often have to install the same software packages onto computers with different OS & hardware setup.

For example, is it easy to compile one package that would install all the selected software automatically?

And, is it possible to backup selected software/files to a DVD that can be used later to install a similar setup, but on different hardware etc?

There must be some software already made for this purpose? I mean, so many network administrators having similar tasks?Start Free Trial
