Alternative Testing Tool for QTP
Hello gurus,
Could someone let me know of the testing tool that could be used instead of QTP? Like we have OpenSTA instead of Load Runner, do we have anything to replace QTP as it is too costly.
Which is the best one?
I would like to know the less cost one and also Open Source.

Hi,
There are lot of tools available in the market including the open source tools.
however it is based on the technology you are using.
You can use Silk test tool / Test Partener / Rational Robot(IBM) / Test Coplete - These are the most preferred however after QTP.
in open source tools Selenium is the most widely used for web applications where as Autoit is for stand alone application.
