yes it is trying to take the Timezone value as GMT and adding 24 to it, and like letmebe said this command does not return tomorrow's date

tomorrow=`TZ=GMT+24 date +%m%d%y`
I do not understand the GMT+24 part. Do you mean take the machine localtime and add 24 hours to the current date?
