QuickBooks 10 install stuck
We are installing QuickBooks version 10 on a Windows 7 64-bit OS computer.
The install always gets stuck during the "Checking for previous version..." portion of the install (see the screenshot).
The users attempting this install have then rebooted the computer and started the installation over again but it keeps getting stuck.
I am now logged onto the computer with my own account and there are no versions of QuickBooks that show up in the Programs and Features.
All of the accounts that we have logged onto the computer with have had administrator rights and there are no antivirus programs installed.
What do we need to do to fix this issue so that we will be able to get Quick Books to install?
