I have a hosted client that connects to Great Plains via Citrix. He generates reports and prints them to screen and also wants to save them to his local C: dive. This is something that most users can do and normally don't have any problems with. I made sure that his Citrix security is set to Full access and never ask me again, and that he is an administrator of his box. Does anyone else know why he wouldn't be able to save files to his machine. In one case it doesn't give any error, it just doesn't do it. I have another case whre it says access denied.
When you start Citrix by default, it asks if you want to give access to the local computer. It sounds like he chose Read Access.
To correct this, have him start the Citrix based and:
1) Right-click on Program Neighborhood Connection Center (in system tray) 2) Choose Open Connection Center 3) Select Citrix Server under ICA Connections 4) Click File Security Button 5) Choose "Full Access" and "Never ask me again".
