The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

CRM Reporting Services Setup

Asked by DCTIT in Microsoft Dynamics, SQL Reporting

Tags: , ,

Im trying to setup a MS CRM 3.0 server on a win2k3 setup.  The CRM server is going to be a standalone win 2k3 machine.  There is a separate Win 2k3 SQL 2k5 server that will run SQL Server and Reporting Services.
I have the SQL and reporting services setup and if I try to view the reports page Im able to do it from every PC on the domain except for the CRM server.  It always prompts me for credentials on the CRM server.  If I type those in it works fine.  The report server is running under the Network Service account.
Im installing on the CRM server with a domain admin account and am setting it up to use Network Service.  When I go to install CRM I get the an error saying;
The Specified Reporting Services Report Server http://*servername* was not found.
I also get a warning saying that Setup was unable to verify that the Trust for Delegation property is enabled for the computer object.  According to the MS document I shouldnt have to do this because Im using a Domain Admin acct to install and it is running under a Network Service account.
Ive beaten my head against the wall for a few days now and dont feel as Im getting anywhere.  If anyone has any suggestions Id greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Joe
