I have a client that is using quickbook enterprise and there file is damaged. The server rebooted when the file was in use and they were not able to get in since then.
I have made sure that only the server is sharing the file, All computers are on the same version, Version 7 R8. And my QBdataserviceuser and QBdataserviceuser17 have full access to the directories where the files are located. The error number I am receiving is -6189, -82. Clients are receiving the error message -6190, -82
I am not able to open the open the file to do a verify/rebuild. Does anyone have any suggestions or is the a utility to rebuild the file outside of quickbooks enterprise.
